Game wont lanch

When I click play in steam then a window shows up saying Launching FS2 but then nothing shows up..
After sometimes a window pops up and vanishes,this happens multiple times..
but nothing happens. but steam shows the game is running.
any solutions??

Perhaps its somehow already open but not showing, check if a FS2 exe is running in the background in your task manager.
