Stack-ability of buffs with events

Simply put, can buffs be used concurrently

with events to receive astronomical bonuses?
for example, during the : Special FS Time Event!

would I be able to use a 2X point and 2X exp card to receive a 400% bonus?

Help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe the answer is yes, but I have not confirmed myself.

no such thing. i used the sponsors with the event and i got 200% exp and 200% pts

The bonuses are additive, not multiplicative.

So let's say a game is normally worth 100 exp. If there's a 100% event and you have a 100% sponsor on, you'd get 300 exp. (100 base + 200 bonus.)
